You own the lab. We run it.
Ascent's managed laboratory model, from first call to first billable sample.
Ascent is a managed laboratory services company. We don't operate a reference lab and we don't hold CLIA certificates of our own. Every lab we build belongs to the practice, runs under the practice's CLIA and NPI, and bills under the practice's name.
What we bring is everything a practice doesn't have: the analyzer, the reagents, LIS integration, a technical supervisor, and the compliance work that keeps a high complexity lab certified. One agreement covers it.
The practice brings a room and its patients. That's the whole division of labor.
